Best Ice Cream Within A Mile of Willow Brook Lodge

I scream!  You scream!  We all scream for ice cream!  What better vacation tradition than going out for ice cream?  Guests at Willow Brook Lodge are just minutes away from some of the best creameries in Pigeon Forge.  Here’s our favorite ice cream stops within a short walking distance of Willow Brook Lodge.

Curl de la Creme

Guests love getting to customize their very own ice cream treat at this shop in Pigeon Forge.   The only shop of its kind in the area, Curl de la Creme makes rolled ice cream right before your eyes.  Start by choosing what items you want to mix in. Once mixed, it’s spread into a thin sheet onto a stone slab that’s -15 degrees.  The ice cream is then scraped to create curls. You can add up to 3 toppings to your curled ice cream so be sure to try a different combination each time you visit.

Mad Dog’s Creamery & Donuts

When you stay at Willow Brook Lodge you are just steps away from this amazing location!  Known as a one stop sweet shop, Mad Dog’s Creamery has a full selection of both hand-dipped and soft serve ice cream.  Featuring 24 different flavors of ice cream, sundaes, banana splits, and some of the best milkshakes in Pigeon Forge, there’s a frozen treat for everyone to enjoy at Mad Dog’s.

Old Mill Creamery

Part of the Old Mill Square, The Old Mill Creamery is one of the best places in Pigeon Forge to enjoy a scoop of ice cream.  This creamery churns traditional flavors to scoop into cones, dishes, shakes, and sundaes. We recommend trying one of the creamery’s signature line of ice creams that incorporate grains from The Old Mill and homemade candies from The Old Mill Candy Kitchen.  You can’t go wrong with any flavor from this creamery!

The Island Creamery

If you’re looking for an old fashioned treat in Pigeon Forge, than look no further than The Island Creamery.  With ice cream choices ranging from hand dipped cones to Banana Splits, no matter what you choose, you’ll find the perfect was to satisfy your sweet tooth and cool off at the same time.

Remac’s the 2nd Generation

Guests of Willow Brook Lodge will have no problem identifying this location – just look for the giant ice cream cone!  Originally opened in 1961, Remac’s was one of Pigeon Forge’s most loved restaurants for over 25 years until it closed in 1986.  Now, 30 years later, the location has been re-opened by the children of the original owners. Once again, Remac’s is becoming a favorite of Pigeon Forge locals.  With soft serve ice cream, waffle cones, milkshakes, and Coke floats you’re sure to find something everyone will enjoy on the menu at Remac’s.
