You can literally see Bennett’s BBQ from your private balcony at Willow Brook Lodge. It is that close to Willow Brook. It is located just across the parkway from the hotel, so you won’t have to go far to eat good when staying.

2. Boss Hogg’s BBQ Shack

Located on Wears Valley Road in Pigeon Forge, this family owned restaurant specializes in slow cooked meats like smoked chicken, brisket, seasoned ribs, and more.  They serve up the classics along with favorite sides like coleslaw, green beans, baked beans, and potato salad. If you’re looking for friendly service and great food, make sure you add Boss Hogg’s to your list. It is just about 5-10 minutes away from Willow Brook Lodge.

3. Calhoun’s

With locations in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, Calhoun’s is a must-stop for anyone looking for barbecue in the Smokies.  Calhoun’s slow cooks their meat over split hickory logs until their famous ‘Smoke Ring’ appears on the meat. They also have an impressive list of sides, including homemade mashed potatoes, Tennessee Corn Puddin’, macaroni and cheese, and fresh veggies.   Make sure you leave room for dessert!! The eatery restaurant is known for what they call pigs wings (which tastes like a cross between ham and ribs).  Gore sings live a few days each month and often makes rounds to greet diners. Open for lunch and dinner, you’ll not want to miss trying Tony Gore’s on your next Pigeon Forge trip! You will probably pass this place on your way into Pigeon Forge when visiting Willow Brook Lodge.
